Walking into this event was anything but a show-stopper, the stunning ballet dancers greet you as guests walked in. From the decked out entry to the amazing Champagne glasses awaiting us on arrival, ready to be poured.
The Hyatt Hotel Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel, was built as a showpiece for an emerging capital. It stands today, as one of Australia’s most iconic and intriguing buildings. Within these storied walls, the very fabric of society has been woven – Love, politics, parties, dignitaries, delegations and celebrations.
This week we celebrated 100 years of its humanity and hospitality. We have all had many great memories of the Hyatt, from my wedding, birthdays, events to my fathers original drawing of Canberra that is hung in this building.
