CIT Logo

Vlad designed the Bruce Campus logo for CIT, back in the 1970/80’s. The committee wanted Vlad to design a new logo for CIT (Canberra Institute of Technology). It was then called ACT Institute of Technical and Further Education. They wanted a simple version of what he designed for the Bruce campus. Below you will see Vlad’s design that was sent in and replied by Mr Barry Macoustra – Manager, System Information.

Vlad’s design was modern and fresh – its all about moving forward into the future. Especially with design, not going back. The chosen CIT logo was going back to the 1950’s. Its very dated and is stuck in a time period. The chosen logo was designed by graphic design student Michele Sinclair, 1993.

You will see extracts from the publication ‘Towards 80 Years – Serving our Community’, that show Vlad’s Bruce Campus logo and the current CIT logo.
