As the heat begins to rise again in the Nations Capital… we all can’t forget the horrendous bushfires that did blanket our sky’s a few years back now. That was a once in a decade event, that I hope I won’t have to live though again.
In the early 80’s and 90’s CSIRO has played an important part in research, planning and bush fire behaviour. Many great scientists have written reports and publications on the subject. These did look at significant roles in understanding and mitigating major bushfires and their effects on peoples lives, properties and infrastructure.
While working at CSIRO Vlad worked closely with these bush fire scientists from Canberra and interstate on many publications and promotional material. He designed the logo, branding and stationary for the ‘ National Bushfire Research Unit CSIRO’ (NBFU), which corporate identity has been published over the years in many international logo design publications.
Below are examples of Vlad’s designs and publications for the National Bushfire Research Unit CSIRO.
